Angola: João Lourenço “Balancing” between Miala and Furtado

For the position of PEDRO SEBASTIÃO, whose removal from the CS/PR leadership was not due to any reason for mistrust, but to an alleged "inadequate" management, referred to insufficiencies of profile, such as lack of authority and poor visibility, was named FRANCISCO FURTADO (FF), an Army general, former CEMGFA (2006/10).

FERNANDO MIALA (FM) is known to have confided (in private), that following his commission as head of the Intelligence and State Security Service (SINSE), he would be appointed head of CS/PR.
