Mozambique: Gazprom Supports ENH in Natural Gas Projects

The rejection by the Mozambican Government, through the National Hydrocarbon Company (ENH), of selling 5% of its stake in Area 1 Mozambique LNG, where it currently holds 15%, as a means of gaining liquidity to secure the capital needed for investments in the development of natural gas (LNG) projects is causing additional difficulties in financing the Cabo Delgado projects, and in particular in Area 4 Rovuma LNG project.
