Guinea-Bissau: Military Resists Pressures From Political Quarters
The resignation of the government of Aristides Gomes (AG) by PR José Mário Vaz (JOMAV), OCT.29, appointing Faustino Fudut Imbali (FFI) as PM, led to a sharp accentuation of political tensions in Guinea-Bissau, with fears of military intervention.
