Following the various episodes of demonstration of unpreparedness of public entities to deal with the Covid-19 containment measures, JL, who also maintains a close relationship with the Minister of the Interior, chose to remove SL from the coordination, maintaining her only in the presentation daily briefings on the evolution of the pandemic. Despite efforts to avoid being held responsible for the failure to initially coordinate Covid-19 containment efforts, SL's position in the Government is now seen as more fragile, in the executive circles.
