Sao Tome and Principe: Accession to African Free Trade Area Advances

The adherence to the Agreement that creates the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and the ongoing reforms in the customs area, mainly in the simplification of procedures, led the Government to create a National Committee for Trade Facilitation (CNFC), for coordination and following up of commercial policies.
With a status of public-private partnership and of an advisory nature, the CNFC has the authority to formulate recommendations in the scope of the development of international trade / exchanges and all its logistics.
