The (formal) ceasefire, announced on 13.APR.2020 by the political wing of the FLEC/ FAC following the appeal of the UN SG, remains, despite signs to the contrary by a faction of the movement that has resurfaced.
The said faction has been making military announcements, namely about attacks against the FAA in Cabinda, one of which would have resulted in 14 casualties among Angolan soldiers, and Angolan military operations in the territory of neighboring countries.
