PR FILIPE NYUSI's (FN) visit to Rwanda, 28.APR, was described by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation as of consultations with the Rwandan PR PAUL KAGAME (PK), related to the conflict in the province of Cabo Delgado. FN himself said that the discussion focused on Rwanda's experience in combating terrorism and violent extremism.
PK's support in the fight against terrorism in Cabo Delgado is provided with significant benefits for Rwanda also. Rwandan specialists in military counterintelligence have been working increasingly closely and in-depth with the Mozambican Defense and Security Forces in detecting, detaining and interrogating elements of the terrorist groups detained in Cabo Delgado.
