Mozambique: Graphite Extraction in Cabo Delgado at Risk with Guerrilla

The possibility that the 'jihadist'-inspired armed cells present in Cabo Delgado province are receiving external reinforcements (AM 1353) has been gaining consistency, given the growing trend of attacks in the district of Nangade (localities of Chicuaia Velha and de Paulo Samuel Khankomba), a region close to the border with Tanzania, and movements of gangs to the south of the province, in the district of Ancuabe, which borders the district of Meluco, one of the most critical areas in recent weeks due to the proximity of Pemba, provincial capital.
