Guinea-Bissau: Resignation of Alberto Nambeia Relaunches PRS for Upcoming Elections

The illness of ALBERTO NAMBEIA (AN), president of the Social Renovation Party (PRS), the third largest opposition party, led to the resignation of the party's leadership during the Political Commission in AUG. and dictated his unavailability to appear as the head of the list in the next legislative elections in DEC. The unavailability of TCHERNO DJALÓ, current Minister of Commerce and first vice-president of the party, to take over the leadership of the list, relaunched the party in a new phase, after years of losing influence and votes. READ MORE
