Mozambique: Russian-Owned Company Partner of Guebuza Destabilizes Zambézia

The group's activity began in JUL.2019, with the start of processing heavy sands in the Pebane district. Considered currently the main Russian project in the country in the mining sector, this is also the largest investment in the extractive sector in Zambézia – c. USD 16 million. The group entered into the capital of Tazetta Resources to explore four areas in Zambézia province.

A large government delegation led by PR FILIPE NYUSI was present at the inauguration of the extraction and production unit, including the governor of Zambézia ABDUL RAZAK NOORMAHOMED, the Russian ambassador in Mozambique ALEXANDER SURIKOV and the DG of East Minerals group, EVGENY VOLOSOV.
