Mozambique: Government Finalizes Agreement with IMF

The Ministry of Finance group, which has been contacting several former ministers such as ADRIANO MALEIANE and MAX TONELA, believes that the IMF is open to accepting and supporting the review of current mining contracts, particularly the change of royalties currently in force as well as the increase in taxation on profits (AM 1526).
