Equatorial Guinea: Government Takes SBM Stake to Keep Aseng FPSO Afloat
The government expects that the gas volumes from Aseng will support the technical and commercial viability of other upstream and downstream development projects within the Gas Mega Hub (GMH) project, including the Alen Unit, Yoyo-Yolanda, new drilling in blocks operated by Chevron, and potential cross-border gas flows through the Gulf of Guinea pipeline infrastructure, as well as long-term gas supply to the Punta Europa complex.
