Equatorial Guinea: “Teodorin” Purge Brings Down Another Member of the Elite

 
The case may resemble that of RUSLAN OBIANG NSUE (RON), half-brother of “Teodorin”, sentenced to 6 years in prison due to fraudulent operations at the airline CEIBA (AM 1542). Months after the conviction in the court of first instance, the provincial court of Bioko Norte, Bioko Sul and Annobón acquitted and released RON, the same happening with LUCIANO ESONO BITEGUE, former DG and former Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation (AM 1516).
