Angola: Regime Tries to Foster UNITA Dissidencies
The State Intelligence and Security Service (SINSE), headed by FERNANDO MIALA (FM) is identified as the regime body that is "at the center" of the regime's efforts to "undermine" UNITA - a task considered consistent with the nature of the political police that it has maintained and whose essential mission is to identify, monitor, and target declared or presumed opponents of the regime.
